This is a Complete SYNC 3 Conversion Upgrade for your Ford/Lincoln Vehicle currently equipped with MyFord Touch/MyLincoln Touch/SYNC2. You will receive everything listed above and everything pictured (Except my cat Doug, she is there to look cute). The apim and screen are in great condition. Apim is a late 2015 model MFG 11/2015. The pictures of the display in action are for example only and are taken from my 2014 Ford Escape as I have done this upgrade as well and cannot recommend this upgrade enough to everyone with MyFord Touch currently. Getting this upgrade done on my own vehicle was the best thing I have done since owning it. SYNC 3 is absolutely the best infotainment system available and now YOU can have it too! You would look so damn cool too, just telling you the truth man. You WILL need to get this Apim programmed to match your current vin to retain your vehicle’s functions. There are tutorials online for you to do this yourself, services online that can program for you, or your dealer may be able to do this service. You WILL also need to perform a master reset on the apim after programming. It is pretty simple and straight forward as this upgrade is quite common. There are no brackets included for the screen with this item, you will then need to use the brackets currently on your MFT screen as they will be a direct fit for this SYNC 3 screen. Swapping out the screen and apim and the USB hub is very easy. No additional wiring is needed as the USB adapter is included. There are “How To’s” online via YouTube or you can have your local stereo shop install the hardware. This unit is Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatible with software version 3.0. You will need to update the software to version 3.0 as this apim may have version 1.0. This unit also has built in Navigation. So you can use the the standard Navigation, Apple Maps, Waze, or Google Maps, whatever you want! If you want a newer Apim from late 2018, I can do that for an additional cost. There are 2 different types of 8″ touch screens Ford and Lincoln use as well as a 6.5″ touch screen. There is a flat/flush sided screen and a recessed screen. This listing is the 8 touch screen with the recessed screen mount. Please verify that you currently have the recessed sided screen.
