Fox live valve upgrade kit for Pivot firebird This upgrade kit is for the current generation of Pivot firebird Kit includes – Live valve damper for Fox 38 Fox factory live valve shock Fox live valve system controller (new) Fox live vale system battery (new) Front and rear accelerometers All necessary mounting hardware The live valve system allows your bike to be adjust to the terrain you are riding, automatically changing between compression modes to give you the most efficient ride possible. I bought a firebird with this system equipped and was brilliant, it made a long travel enduro bike pedal like a XC bike. The app slows you to customise the compression to suit your riding style. I would recommend getting this fitted by a bike shop as required routing though the frame and cable foam needs using (not supplied) to prevent rattling. Bearings incorporate larger balls providing larger load carrying capacity, and now seat on the axle instead of the wheel collars. Collars incorporate Pivot Works’ watertight O-ring design to keep hubs dry. Collars and bearing spacer made of military hard anodizing to prevent wear.
