This Kit Will Upgrade Your RCA 45EY3 Record Player to 12Volt D. For best results your RP190 record changer should be restored and fully operational prior to completing this upgrade. Some soldering is required, but most of the connections are done with wire nuts. It includes a potted Solid State Amplifier that replaces all of the Vacuum Tubes, Only the Speaker, Volume Control, and two tone compensation components in the amplifier is used. It has two device’s to obtain the 12 VDC power input to the record player. 120VAC to 12 VDC adapter. 12VDC battery pack which uses 8 AA batteries. These devices are both included in the kit. The power input connection, is located outside of the player which eliminates the possibility of internal damage of the player due to battery leakage. This kit provides Instant On! No more warm up time before you hear the sound. Gone are the Vacuum Tubes that are 70 years old, NOS Vacuum Tubes, or Tubes Made in China or Russia. Now also included with the kit and shown in gallery photos 3 and 4 is a 46 3/4 inch 12VDC fused Male plug that plugs into the 12VDC Convenience or Cigarette lighter receptacle to power the record player. This item is fused with a 5 amps 250 volts but is replaceable with a lower rated fuse. This player uses 1 amp or less without the extension cables. Available but not included is a 118 inch or 3 Meter long extension cable listing number 363871799886 or a 39.3 inch long extension cable listing number 255939594333.
