This is a really good conversion kit to change any standard bicycle to eBike power. The motor simply bolts into a standard 68mm or 72mm bottom bracket instead of your cranks and plugs into the speed sensor, controller and battery. It’s just the kit, I have included a few photos of it fitted to my bike for reference only. 48V 750W 15A TSDZ2 mid drive motor with torque sensor. No brake lever changes required. Supports up to 54.6V input voltage. This kit requires that the rear wheel has a freewheel and not a foot/coaster brake. The power is activated by your feet! Just start to pedal and the motor adds the set assistance from the controller. If you stop pedaling then the motor stops too so there’s no need to wire in switches into your brakes to deactivate or anything. It comes with the smaller VLCD6 controller to control the assistance, let you know the battery state and set the speed limiter, it also lights up if you hold down the’down’ button. Wires for front and back 6V lights included (hold down’down’ button to activate). Wiring upgraded internally to be soldered rather than using the flimsy connector from the factory. Recently serviced and repaired to refresh and make working as-new. I have ridden this around Bristol and Ashton Court and love the power and the speed you get from the system but I was racing and jumping my 16 stone too hard and broke an axle. She rides normal off-road round Ashton Court and commuting so has suffered no problems at all. Still, my hard riding found a couple weak points. The wiring can come undone inside the casing but not now I have soldered the connections rather than relying on a flimsy plastic connector. And, the crank arms they provide aren’t very strong, so I have replaced with Shimano eBike specific ones to cope with the power. The speed sensor is still in the packet and has never been installed, also the controller is showing practically zero miles for this reason. It’s a great kit and really easy to fit. I don’t mind taking a look at your bike to see if it looks compatible and offering advice on fitting if you are unsure.
