Based on the widespread AES/EBU (Audio Engineering Society/European Broadcasting Union) format, the option gives you comprehensive digital compatibility. The AES8024 comes as an easy-to-install expansion board and includes the required XLR connectors and an installation manual. This item was discontinued quite a while ago and is now very tough to find. However when installed into your Behringer signal processor it converts in into a powerful fully digital processing engine with no A>D and D>A signal conversion artifacts.
